The best true green stain and odor remover....

earth enzymes

I got this little sample bottle of Earth Friendly Products Stain and Odor Remover the other day and I've been using it like man ever since.   The other day we got some stains on our couch and I brought it down and began spraying and presto the stains disappeared with a little towel action.  No petroleum smell either or deep stains from the distillates themselves.

Had another chance to test it out last night.  Driving home with two of the kids and five yogurts and my wife, naturally, it was I, the gifted one, who spilled his from console to the passenger side of the car, spreading like a little purple glacier all over the hem of my wife Ana's white cotton pants.  Yes, that's right, I put a boysenberry-blueberry nonfat yogurt with a cap on the console and it certainly did what everyone but me knew it would:  it spilled lovely antioxidant-rich flavonoid purples into her white cotton.

"Oh," she said.  "I love these pants!"

"I promise I'll take out the stain."

"This is blueberry, honey; it won't come out," she said.

In fact what I liked about Stain and Odor Remover is how well it is made.  It's a little personal virtue, I would say, but one if we all do it, or even ten percent of us, buying household cleaning products without oil is part of what we can certainly to influence big business to make positive changes.  I mean, how much oil do you think they use in a bottle of stain and odor remover usually?  Truth be told, about a quarter to half the bottle is a Gulf of Mexico drilling rig's worth of crude.  Multiply that by a nation and we could cut a few days' worth of foreign imports just from being smart and green about our household cleaners.   This product is petroleum free.  Even the packaging is recycled and recyclable.

This morning when I got up and went through the dryer, I found her lovely white cotton pants.  Nothing remained of the stains, not even a shadow ring.  Perfect.

I brought them up and showed.

"Oh, they do look lovely," she said.

And so the dream goes on.
